This summer’s focus for The Downtown Spur is working on the structures along the 1400 block of 22nd Street (which parallels the railroad). The latest project is El Tigre Meat and Provisions as it looked around 2007. It was necessary to selectively compress the length. The main goal was to capture the hand-painted logo.

Tell us more about that Fascia drawer and hardware shelf there! I don’t recall ever seeing that in any of you books. A fascia drawer could be handy..
Hi Ken. It’s been over a decade but I picked that up at The Home Depot. As I recall it was called something like a “computer keyboard drawer” or “computer drawer”. I can’t remember if I bought the face separately.
