It’s been quite some time since I’ve had guests over to operate on The Downtown Spur layout. I’ve been thinking about the best way to kickstart something. Rather than set a specific date, let’s try this.
I live in the DC suburbs and am usually free in the middle of the day on Sundays. Anybody who wants to run, just drop me a line and we’ll set something up. A session will run about ninety minutes. I’ll be the conductor and walk you through a typical shift. Sessions are casual and relaxing affairs. There is no beat the clock, nor are there hidden tricks. Running speeds are about 15mph. While I try to be halfway prototypical, there won’t be any rules police on site.
